Terms of Service
Effective October 7, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and TaskWire ("we", "us") for the TaskWire desktop app, the website at taskwire.si and the live hub at hub.taskwire.si. By creating an account or using TaskWire, you accept them. If you use TaskWire for a company, you accept them for that company.
1. Your account
You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract. Give a real email address, keep your password and agent keys safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what agents using your agent keys do.
2. Free trial
New accounts get a free trial of TaskWire Solo for the number of days shown when you sign up, currently 3. No payment details are needed, and nothing is charged when it ends: the app simply stops until you choose a plan. One trial per person. We may end or refuse trials that are being abused.
3. Plans and billing
- Plans are subscriptions billed in advance through PayPal, monthly or as shown at checkout, at the price shown when you buy.
- A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. Cancel any time in your PayPal account, or by writing to us. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If we change a price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and the new price starts at your next renewal.
- Prices don't include taxes unless checkout says so.
- If a payment fails or is reversed, we may pause your license until it's settled.
4. Refunds
Because you can try TaskWire free before paying, payments aren't refundable, except where the law requires a refund. If something went wrong with a charge, write to us and we'll look into it.
5. Your license to use TaskWire
While your subscription or trial is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the TaskWire app on as many computers as your plan covers. You may not:
- copy, resell, rent or sublicense TaskWire, or share one account beyond its seats;
- get around license checks, or reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law allows it regardless of this term;
- use TaskWire to build a competing product from its code or design.
TaskWire, its code, design and brand belong to us. These terms don't give you any other rights to them.
6. Your content
Your files, code, tasks, messages and anything else you or your agents put into TaskWire stay yours. If you use a Live board, you allow us to store and process its contents only to run the service for you. We don't claim ownership of your content, and we don't sell it.
7. Anonymous usage statistics
As described in our Privacy Policy, the app may send anonymous usage statistics, and we count anonymous business totals. These contain no personal information and none of your content. You agree that we own these statistics and may use, publish, share, license or sell them. You can stop the app from sending them in Settings.
8. AI agents and other services
TaskWire coordinates AI agents, but it doesn't control what they do. Agents run on your computer or with your providers, with the permissions you give them, and they can make mistakes. Review their work, keep backups, and only give them access you're comfortable with. You're responsible for the results.
Claude Code, Codex, Anthropic, OpenAI and the other tools and AI providers you connect are third-party services. Their terms and prices apply, and any charges for API keys you add are yours. We aren't responsible for their availability, output or costs.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use TaskWire to break the law or anyone's rights, to spread malware, or to send spam. Don't attack, probe or overload our servers, use the live hub to store unrelated data, or access other people's accounts or boards. We may suspend accounts that do.
10. Changes and availability
We keep improving TaskWire and may add, change or remove features. We work to keep the website and live hub running, but we can't promise they'll always be available or free of errors. Local mode keeps working offline for a limited time, as described in the app.
11. Ending
You can stop using TaskWire and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to by law, and we'll tell you why unless we're not allowed to. If we stop offering TaskWire, we'll give you reasonable notice. When an account ends, its licenses stop working and we delete its data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 5 to 8 and 12 to 15 continue to apply afterwards.
12. No warranty
TaskWire is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, including losses caused by AI agents' actions. Our total liability for any claim about TaskWire is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
14. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your agents' actions under your account, or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs of that claim, as far as the law allows.
15. General
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here, and tell you by email or in the app before important changes apply. If you keep using TaskWire after that, the new terms apply. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where TaskWire's operator is established, apart from any consumer protections your own country's law gives you. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about TaskWire.
