Workspaces and folders
Point agents at real project folders and repositories, with notes every agent reads.
A workspace is a named project: a folder on your computer, a Git repository, or both. Tasks in a workspace tell agents exactly where to work.
Add one
Click + next to Workspaces and choose a folder. TaskWire opens Agent prompt for it straight away, so you can brief an agent for that folder.
Click a workspace in the left rail to filter the board to it. Use the arrow icon to open the folder in Finder or Explorer.
Notes for agents
Give each workspace notes: the stack, how to run it, how to run the tests, anything agents keep asking. Every agent briefed for the workspace reads them, so you don't repeat them in every task.
Where an agent works
A task can have its own folder. If it doesn't, the agent works in the workspace's folder. Cloud agents, which can't see your computer, work in their own clone of the workspace's repository and push a branch.
Repositories
Add the repository's URL to the workspace so cloud agents know what to clone. For private repositories, connect GitHub in Settings or add a deploy key to the workspace.
Removing a workspace never touches the folder on disk.
